Physics 8-18-16 Measuring & Analyzing in Physics, continued…

PHYSICS: Did you remember sig figs? All this SI and calculations stuff will come back to you before you know it. Holler if we need to practice. Don’t forget to show all your work!

So why can some humans float – or not? Looking forward to seeing what you do with the lab tomorrow! 🙂

  1. I give myself a 4 for this week. I remember a lot of things from chemistry, so mostly this week was review. I struggled with remembering sig fig rules, but after looking over them I did well on the homework. I also learned that in experiments there will be a lot of failures (example: my whirly gig), but you have to fail to so you know what to improve.

  3. I would give myself a 3 for this week. I did really well on the labs we did in class, but I struggled with remembering the things we did in chemistry. The notes in class helped clear up all the questions I had. I feel like I did well overall and am looking forward to more labs.

  4. I would give myself a 3 out of five this week. Though I believe I did extremely well on the labs, I struggled on the homework because I didn’t recall a lot of what I learned in chemistry. Going forward, I believe that a lot of it will begin to come back to me. The notes helped to clear up everything that I was uncertain of.

  5. This week, I struggled remembering basic principles from chemistry and class format. Towards the end of the week I began to remember how the class operates and a few basic principles, but I am still looking over some of the basics such as conversions and sig figs.
