Physics 8-15-14 Using Measurements in Physics, Pt. 1

PHYSICS – Hey guys, here’s part 1 of the overview we did on the SI system. 27 out of 70 slides isn’t bad, is it? 🙂

You remembered a lot! Were you surprised at yourself? The hardest part, I think, will be getting back in the habit of showing all your work, using conversion factors, units, dimensional analysis, sig figs, etc. If you need to re-do any of the problems so they are in the correct format, that’s fine! We’ll finish reviewing sig figs on Tuesday. Happy, happy!

Have a wonderful weekend and senior retreat!!!

Chemistry 8-15-14 Lab Safety & Procedures

CHEMISTRY: Wow! Great video, but do you feel like you have information overload!?

Here is the video on lab safety video we watched in class. It does have a ton of info, and the thing is, you absolutely must know it – and not just for the test, but also throughout the year in lab. It’s a really good idea to watch it again and take notes as you go.

Be sure and check your syllabus to be ready for tomorrow! Also, here are the things that are due by tonight midnight:

  • Lab Apparatus Drawing saved as a PDF due by midnight on Monday – scanned into your Assignment Turn In Folder in Google Drive
  • Lab Safety Rules signed and dated due and saved as a PDF by midnight on Monday – scanned into your Assignment Turn In Folder in Google Drive
  • You should already have a cell phone photo inserted into Word doc, and then that saved as a PDF – uploaded to your Assignment Turn In Folder in Google Drive – that was due Saturday midnight
