Hon Chemistry 3-21-14 Synthesis Reactions

HON CHEMISTRY: Oooohhhh! So that’s where the pretty light comes from! Great job on synthesis reactions. Now go forth and practice what you learned! (The balancing equations part, not the playing with magnesium part!) 🙂

Chemistry 3-21-14 Electron Affinity & Electronegativity

CHEMISTRY: Wow! We finally finished the chapter!! Here’s the lecture from Friday – electron affinity, ionic radii, valence electrons and electronegativity. Whew! Lots of stuff to know, and lots of stuff to be able to apply!

Good luck as you begin studying for your test – you need to start today! Be sure and check out the Chapter 5 Stuff to Know Sheet on Edline? And don’t forget the interactive review games with the online text book – a great way to see what you know, and also www.sciencegeek.net. The Unit 2 section on that would be a great place to practice and check to see if you’ve learned what you think you’ve learned.

Speaking of starting stuff NOW – how the Lost in the Asgard Range Project coming? Take advantage of every weekend – you’ll need it! Post questions on the webpost that’s about the project. You might also want to read the other questions and comments!!
