Hon Chemistry 9-23-13 Classification of Matter, Pt. 2

HON CHEMISTRY: Happy Monday! Have you gotten used to the lady on the virtual lab? 🙂 Make sure you use the vLAB sheets here on the website, NOT the ones that come with the online textbook.

Here is the rest of the lecture on the classification of matter. How are you doing on the examples of homogeneous and heterogeneous matter? Here’s a question to think about, can you tell me three different types of homogeneous matter?

And no, it’s not a still, but it is copper and I thought it looked kind of cool!

Physics 9-23-13 Angular Projectile Motion

PHYSICS – I missed you today! How’d you do with the virtual me? Here’s the vodcast that you watched on angular projectile motion – well, a lot of homework review and then angular projectile motion.

The number one thing to remember – Never use the resultant velocity to do more than find the vertical and horizontal components! And vertical is vertical, horizontal is horizontal and don’t ever mix the two!

Chemistry 9-23-13 Changes in Phase

CHEMISTRY: Wow! Don’t you love homecoming week! Here’s the super short review of the changes of states/phases of matter. Btw – how’d you do on the symbols quiz today? Are you ready for one tomorrow…or the next day?

Oh, and don’t forget to get a candle and piece of clay from me for the thLab: Candle Observation. You’ll write that one on the lab sheet and turn it in in class.
