CHEMISTRY – Hey guys, so is all the info on SI measurements starting to come back to you? Here’s the lecture from Friday. I’m sure it’s mostly review from your physical science days, but it’s a great opportunity to refresh what you’ve learned and to get ready to begin using it!
Did you remember the prefixes? Don’t forget to work on memorizing them this weekend, especially since I’ve changed the due date for the take home lab to next week. Here are the dates for the SI prefix quizzes: Honors Chemistry – Quiz on Wednesday; Regular Chemistry – Quiz on Thursday
I’m really of your work this week! Have a great weekend!!

Can we turn the balance in early?
Enjoyed the oobleck lab this week
i realized that the SI system is way easier then the system that we use.
I really thought the Oobleck lab was interesting and I learned about it’s state of matter
I didn’t know so much went in to the measuring system. I do think that its totally awesome that your having us learn a certain system.
Thank you for posting this! This has helped me comprehend the meausuring system a lot better!
HC1: Ok, so for the different colored blocks we are trying to find the density…or what??
HONORS CHEM BLOCKS:
I have an idea- although you guys might’ve already figured this out.
-Find the mass
-to find volume, rearrange the density formula and work
-Find the correct density on the chart and fill other info in and BAM!!!!!
TELL ME WHAT YOU GUYS THINK!
