PHYSICS: Collisions – they’re all around us and they all obey the law of conservation of momentum. Here’s the lecture on the types of collisions. How are you doing with the problems? Setting them up is key, then it’s all downhill from there!

In a perfectly inelastic collision between a smaller object and a larger object, how can the two objects that collide have different kinetic energies? they are one object after the collision so is the change in kinetic energy the total kinetic energy of the system after the collision minus the kinetic energy of the objects before they collide?
Cory – Yes! Compare the total before with the total after. Good job!
Ms. Skinner,
When are we doing the light bulb drop project/when is it due?
Sebastian – All of the info is on the syllabus. Have you pulled up the project sheet yet?
Did we decide that the help session is on Friday morning?
Andrew – I think we did say Friday morning.
