CHEMISTRY: So……..how’s it going? The good news is, you did a great job catching on to formula mass today. Bad news was getting that quiz back today! You’ve gotta, gotta, gotta learn those formulas. Flash cards, saying them as you write them a bazillion times, whatever it takes, you’ve got to memorize the formulas for the polyatomic ions and acids, especially those, as well as the other common compounds. That won’t be the last quiz, you know. (Hint, hint!!) And then there’s the test. And you have to know them to write formulas so you can calculate formula mass and molar mass. And for the next chapter so you can write balanced chemical equations. And for the next so you can do stoichiometry. Get my drift? You can do it, I believe in you!! Here’s the lecture on calculating formula mass. Calculators tomorrow!

This looks like it’s going to be a test worth studying for.

I’m starting to get the hang of this! I never thought I’d say this but thank you for the homework! It’s making me memorize quicker.

Speaking of the test when is it?

Im really enjoying my year in chemistry

When are we going to have a test over this chapter?

Was there a change in our homework for tonight?

I think I’m starting to understand this chapter!

Hey this is getting way easier to understand as i practice

Mrs. Skinner so we don’t need to do problems 31 and 42.

This makes alot of sense now!

The quizletts are really helpful! thanks for putting them on here.

When is our next major test?

Ms. Skinner, when are we going to have a test over this?

I understand this better after we worked on it in class.

If everyone choses to take two tests, will they both be next week?

when is our test?

I am still having some trouble setting a few of these problems up.

i think i finally understand this ms skinner!!!!

The molar mass formula worksheet from last night really helped understand how to set up and work problems!

Ms. Skinner when I’m done calculating with the formula mass method should the unit be g/mol or grams?
