CHEMISTRY – Great job with conversion factors today! And thanks for being so patient with the computer and its operator! I’m posting a lecture from last year so that hopefully it won’t have as many interruptions and complications. How’s the homework going? Make sure you practice using your notes tonight, it’ll help you remember the steps we followed today in class. You’re doing great!
Do we have to write our homework in complete sentances for the questions, Ms. Skinner? I did but I wasn’t sure if we had to or not.
When we have a number, and it is larger than the amount of sig. figs. that is allowed, We put our answer in scientific notation,so that it is the correct number of sig. figs., right?
After looking over my notes and the video, I’m actually finding conversion factors to be pretty easy so far. Thanks Ms.Skinner.
Kyle – That’s great! Holler if I can help!
im still confused on some of the converstion factor stuff, but hopefully the help session will clear things up
After doing so many problems, the conversion factors have actually become a lot easier for me. Practice makes perfect, I guess.
Are we goin to go over more conversion factors im still a lil not sure on them
Are we going to go over the conversion factoring homework tomorrow in class?
I’m having a little trouble with the sig figs still.. but i’ll get there!! and i like doing the conversion factors. thanks ms. skinner
i know 3.26×10³ would be 3 significant figures but why would it not be 6 significant figures since the zeros would come after the decimal point??
I like sig. figs. so far but I have to rememner to set up the convertion factors up with the right formula. Thank you for going over it so clearly, Ms. Skinner! 🙂
I am starting to get the hang of conversion factors and sig figs, but i still would like some more help. Will the help sessions be on friday mornings from now on or if not when will the next one be?
