Use what talents you possess, for the woods would be silent if no birds sang except for the best. – Henry van Dyke
PHYSICS – Here’s the review we did on acceleration today – conceptual stuff at the first, and then problems. In this one, we went over HW: 12 – 15ish, then problems 20 – 25, and 41 – did we get to #42? This includes the deer and park ranger problem. Don’t freak out if you aren’t getting the exact answer – it could be a rounding issue. See you in the parking lot tomorrow – are you ready for a break?

what is the answer to number 50 part b&c?
September 3rd, 2010 at 7:23 PM
Kaele, b was 11 s, but the way i did it I got twelve. I guess because of rounding and I can’t remember c.

I can honsetly say that just writing down the formulas and practicing how to rearragnge them in class today helped me tremendously with the more difficult problems. Thanks for just taking some time and get readjusted to doing algebra Ms. Skinner!

does anyone understand how to do number 6 on the hand out?
September 6th, 2010 at 2:26 PM
well you know d=192m and a=9.0m/s^2 and Vi=0 and you are looking for t. so use d = Vit + 1/2at^2
