For the lab report on the unknown element do we include applying in the scientific method? If we do do we explain how we applied knowledge or how we can apply the knowledge we gained about the element during the lab?

ms. skinner, we asked you if our substance was or was not what we thought it was, and you said that it was not. in our lab report, should we put a different substance for the identity even if our data is closer to the substance you said it was not?

Katie – Hmmmmm…..give me a second. I’m trying to figure out what you’re saying.
Today in class you just asked me a free question and I gave you a free answer. I’m going to let you decide what the best thing to do would be. Should you go with what your evidence supports, or should you give another answer even if your data doesn’t support that. What would a scientist do?

On our science in the news this week do we still need a projectile or vector? Or did that just accidentally get copied from last week’s sylabus?

As far as I know and according to the syllabus, there is no specific topic this week. Ms. Skinner hasn’t said it has to be about something specific, either.
