Physics 9-24-09 Component Vector Addition – Practice

PHYSICS – I do believe you are well on your way to conquering the component method of vector addition. Good job! Here’s the lecture/practice from Thursday. Pay careful attention to the smallest details – it can make a huge difference.

    Ms. Skinner,

At first I liked graphing better on vector’s but now some problems I like to solve one way some kinds I like to solve another way.

after working the problems tonight, i am mucch more comfortable with the component method instead of graphing. will we go over the worksheet in class tomorrow?

I actually enjoy doing these kinds of problems. I found it easier to do some on the worksheet the graphical was and others with the component method.

The component method is a very helpful, efficient way to solve vector problems.

i find the component method much faster and a lot more accurate than graphing althopguh graphing does give you a better sense of what is going in the problem

When we first started to do these problems I was super confused, but now that I understand the two methods better, the problems are not as difficult as I thought. They are just super complex sometimes.

I totally owned the vector worksheet with the component method; Go Precal!

I understand the component method SO much better now after practicing it on the worksheet, but graphing is still easier to me!

i HATE graphing them! the component form is WAY easier, but probably because of pre-cal.
do we have to do the homework on the syllabus?
and what are all of the labs that everybody has?
