Physics 9-3-09 Acceleration Problems

PHYSICS – Great job today! Here’s the review we did of Wednesday night’s homework (# 12 – 19), and then the overview of the new acceleration formulas and problems. Good job with the derivations! You’re doing really well with them – stay with it! Carefully examine what you know with the formulas you have that might fit. And if they don’t, examine what you do know that could lead you to what you need to know. You know? :) Tonight’s might be a little challenging, but you can do it!!

i really enjoy the acceleration problems they are much easier for me to work than th constant velocity ones.

i think i’m getting them, then i blank out on homework. i understood most of them from last night, but the last few were harder. i understand why you put “you can do it” on the syllabus

I agree-these are easier than the velocity ones to me. I think the most challenging part is figuring out which problem to use for which problems.

Some of the acceleration problems are easier to me, but I need help with number 50 on the homework. Setting up 41 and 42 in class really helped me.

Joseph, I can help you with number 50. I figured it out, but it is rather complicated.

    Ms. Skinner,
I was unsure about the GLX lab. When will we go over it and when will we have another one?
    Happy Labor Day!

    Ms. Skinner,

Will we have time to go over problem number 50 in class on Tuesday? Also can we have more time to get familiar with the glx?
    Thank you.

I can figure out the acceleration problems so much easier than the velocity problems! I think it helps that we have, like, 10 formulas to choose from.
