Best and Worst ~ Chemistry 08-09
Well, it’s almost over – can you believe it?!? Seems just like yesterday you were coming into my chemistry class for the first time, learning to light a Bunsen burner. Aaaaahh, good times! So what was the best, what was the worst? Careful now, I’m still grading your papers! ![]()
Here’s one for the memory books. Will you ever forget what desiccated water is?

My worst memory of Chemistry was definitely the periodic table activities! And the first lab, the mixture separation, where we put waaaaaaaaay too much water in it! That was very nerve-wracking. But other than that, I had a great time in Chemistry and will miss it next year, especially having it first period.

Ah, desiccated water.
One of the definitions of “desiccated” on Dictionary.com is “without water.” xD
Here is the prank site on the dangers of desiccated dihydrogen monoxide: http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html

Well opposed to my fellow 3rd period classmates who obviously thought the funniest memory of chemistry was me almost dying from the Bunsen burner ( I SWEAR it broke ), I have to say that was my worst memory of chemistry…along with most embarrassing moment. The funnest memory this year was probably explore zone.
